Just been to a very nice meal at Wagamama's with [profile] batelfand [profile] cuthroseand came home to discover a letter from the solicitors dealing with the claim from the guy that clipped me.  Turns out that he doesn't seem to be insured/and or is claiming that he wasn't driving.  It now looks like I'm going to loose my 10+ years of no-claims and have to pay £100 excess.

Any ideas how to handle this?  I wouldn't have even claimed it he hadn't said it was entirely his fault and to put it all on his insurance.
